Building Well Means Knowing Where You Build

We operate in Tarrant, Denton, and Wise County on purpose. Each of these municipalities has its own permitting requirements, its own building department timelines, and its own inspector expectations. Keller runs differently than Fort Worth. Flower Mound runs differently than Denton. The cities in Wise County move at their own pace.

We know which building departments require extra documentation with ADU submittals. We know which inspectors flag specific framing details. We know which subcontractors in this area are reliable. Staying in one region, and only one region, makes us better at that region.

We do not work east of Fort Worth into Dallas County or Tarrant County eastern suburbs. Different subcontractor pools, different building department relationships. We're honest about our geography.

Common Questions About Our Service Area

Do ADU rules differ between Tarrant County and Denton County?

Yes, significantly. Each incorporated city has its own ADU ordinance. Tarrant County cities like Fort Worth and Keller have established supplemental use standards for accessory structures. Denton County municipalities vary widely. Unincorporated county land has different rules from incorporated cities. We verify the applicable requirements for your specific address before any project is scoped.

Can you build an ADU on a larger rural lot in Wise County?

Generally yes. Wise County rural properties often have fewer setback and coverage constraints than suburban Tarrant County lots, making them well-suited for detached ADUs and outbuildings. Unincorporated county building requirements still apply.

Do you work in Denton (the city)?

Yes. Denton is in our active service area. The city of Denton has its own building department and ADU regulations separate from Denton County. We've permitted and built projects in the city of Denton and know the process.

What cities do you not serve?

We don't work east of Fort Worth into Dallas County or into eastern Tarrant County suburban cities. Our service area is the northwest and west DFW corridor — Tarrant, Denton, and Wise County. This is a deliberate boundary, not a capacity issue.
